Just got a 40-hour take-home assignment for a mid-level role. This is getting out of hand. How are you all handling these? I'm thinking of pushing back and offering to walk through my GitHub instead.

I've noticed a huge difference between companies that truly embrace async communication vs those that just say they do. My trick: ask the interviewer what time they sent their last Slack message yesterday. The answer tells you everything.

After 6 months and 200+ applications, I finally landed a great role at a Series B startup. What changed: I stopped spraying applications and started doing deep research on 3-5 companies per week. Quality over quantity. Also, the mock interview feature here helped a ton.

Company offered $130k for a senior frontend role. I know their range goes to $175k based on levels.fyi. How do I counter without losing the offer? First time negotiating a remote role.
